According to online market survey done by Visha Consultants with a sample size of 3000 TV viewers, Colors has shown incredible rise in viewership beating old popular greats Sony and ZEE TV channels.

The above stats are gathered from independent online media market research by marketing research company Visha Consultants. Great promises have been seen in TC viewership by local GEC's in the South with Sun TV as the most viewed TV channel. More surprising fact is, no Hindi channel lists among the top viewed channels in Southern part of India.

Certain news and programs also take TRP to next level. For instance sudden death news of Osama took the market share of English news channels to 22% as compared to other days while Hindi news channels gained with a market share of 33%.
